thedailywhat: First Look of the Day: Entertainment Weekly scored an exclusive first look at a dark-haired, olive-skinned Jennifer Lawrence playing Katniss Everdeen in Gary Ross’s live-action adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ best-selling sci-fi series The Hunger Games. “I love this story,” she told the magainze, “and if I had said no [to the role], I would regret it every day.” The issue hits stands this Friday. The film hits theaters March 23, 2012. [ew.]
